How it works
"Arginine works as a vasodilator, which means that it enlarges blood vessels to promote blood flow. It can be used to treat angina, high blood pressure, and peripheral artery disease. Arginine promotes nitric oxide formation, which not only increases blood flow but also helps nerve cells talk to each other better. Nitric oxide also serves an antiviral agent and has anti-inflammatory effects, and may regulate endothelial and respiratory systems, protecting cells as well as exhibiting anti-thrombotic properties. Arginine also reduces activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are involved in the cytokine storm in severe COVID."
