Pregnancy

There are insufficient data on ezetimibe use in pregnant women to evaluate for a drug-associated risk of major birth defects, miscarriage or adverse maternal or fetal outcomes

Lactation

Ezetimibe should not be used in nursing mothers unless the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the infant

Warnings

Contraindicated: Hypersensitivity, contraindicated in patients for whom a statin, fenofibrate, or other LDL-C lowering therapy are contraindicated ; Warnings: Liver enzyme abnormalities, myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, risks associated with combination treatment with a statin, fenofibrate, or other LDL-lowering therapy
