How it works:

Selectively blocks histamine type 1 receptors

Dosage Form: Tablet Tablet - 5mg; Disintegrating tablet - 2.5mg, 5mg

Common Usage: allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, red/itchy eyes, hives

Precautions:

Pregnancy

Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks
